How it works

  1. Stimulates lipolysis via beta-3 adrenergic receptor pathways

    It's designed to trigger fat breakdown the same way growth hormone does, using a receptor pathway involved in burning fat.

  2. Does not stimulate IGF-1 production, unlike full-length growth hormone

    Unlike full growth hormone, it doesn't raise IGF-1, which is why it was hoped to avoid growth hormone's growth and blood-sugar side effects.

  3. Inhibits lipogenesis (new fat formation)

    It's meant to reduce the body's tendency to store new fat.

Result

Intended to promote fat loss without affecting blood sugar or growth — though human trials did not show a meaningful weight-loss benefit over placebo. In practice, most users would not expect to feel or see a noticeable difference in body fat as a direct result.
