Overview
GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue that stimulates growth hormone release via the ghrelin receptor, similarly to GHRP-6 and Ipamorelin but with a stronger growth hormone pulse and a mild appetite-stimulating effect. In Japan, it's used clinically under the name pralmorelin as a diagnostic tool to test pituitary growth hormone reserve.
Treatments studied
Treatment categories
Growth hormone deficiency
Used clinically to provoke a measurable growth hormone response, helping assess how well the pituitary gland functions.
Growth hormone stimulation (research)
Produces one of the strongest growth hormone pulses among secretagogues via potent ghrelin receptor activation.
