How it works
- Binds directly to LH receptors on the testes or ovaries, closely mimicking the body's own luteinizing hormone rather than acting upstream at the pituitary.
Unlike Gonadorelin or Kisspeptin-10, which work further up the hormone chain, hCG acts directly on the testes or ovaries themselves — skipping a step in the signaling process.
- In men, this directly stimulates testosterone production and sperm development within the testes; in women, it triggers ovulation by mimicking the natural LH surge.
That's why it's especially useful for keeping testicular function and size active during testosterone therapy — it directly keeps the testes "working" rather than relying on the brain's signal to reach them.
Result
Directly stimulates the testes or ovaries to produce natural hormone activity — most commonly experienced as maintained testicular size, sperm production, and natural testosterone output in men using it alongside testosterone therapy, or as triggered ovulation in fertility treatment.
