Overview

Mazdutide is a dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist developed by Innovent Biologics in partnership with Eli Lilly, sharing a similar dual mechanism to survodutide. It has received regulatory approval in China for weight management and type 2 diabetes, making it one of the first dual GLP-1/glucagon agonists to reach approval anywhere in the world, though it remains investigational and unavailable in the United States.
