Overview
Thymalin is a complex of naturally derived polypeptides extracted from calf thymus tissue, developed as part of the same Khavinson bioregulatory peptide research tradition as Epithalon and Pinealon. It has a long history of clinical use in Russia for restoring immune function, particularly in older adults and those with weakened immune systems, based on the idea that thymus-derived peptides can help "reset" declining immune signaling.
Treatments studied
Treatment categories
Immune system decline (age-related)
Its core, defining research application — studied specifically for restoring immune function that has declined with age, drawing on thymus-derived signaling.
Immune system strengthening
Supports the body's own T-cell maturation process, aiming to restore rather than just broadly stimulate immune function.
