Subcutaneous injection, IV infusion (clinical)

How it works

  1. Targets inner mitochondrial membrane

It travels directly to the innermost layer of the cell's energy-producing structures, the mitochondria.

  2. Binds and stabilizes cardiolipin

It attaches to a key fat molecule that holds the mitochondria's energy-making machinery together, keeping it intact.

  3. Reduces mitochondrial ROS

It lowers the amount of cell-damaging byproducts that mitochondria create during energy production.

  4. Restores ATP synthesis

It helps cells regain their ability to efficiently produce ATP, the body's basic energy currency.

  5. Prevents cytochrome c release

It stops a molecule from leaking out of the mitochondria — a leak that normally signals a cell to begin dying.

Result

Improved cellular energy production in stressed or aging tissue, particularly benefiting the heart and muscles. People studied on this compound have reported feeling less fatigued and having more physical stamina, particularly during exertion.
